Shrimp Rice Paper Dumplings

This recipe is such a great way to make dumplings at home in a way that fits your fitness and health goes since it’s super low calorie and packed with protein! It’s no Din Tai Fung but man these were pretty fire. You have to try them and let me know what you think.

Ingredients

  • 8 piece shrimp peeled
  • 1/4 lemon
  • 1 tsp oyster sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp minced ginger
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp white pepper
  • 3 rice paper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • spray oil
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chili crunch
  • sesame seed & green onions for garnish

Instructions

    Dice your shrimp into small pieces and squeeze 1/4 of a lemon over it

    Add your seasonings: oyster sauce, sesame oil, corn starch, salt, and white pepper, and mix.

    Cut your sheet of rice paper unto 4 equal small squares, dip it in water, and place a tbsp of shrimp into the rice paper square.

    Fold into a dumpling shape and pinch the top to seal.

    Put it in a non-stick pan and coat with spray oil and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Add your water and cover and cook for 4 more minutes until the water dries.

    Make your sauce by mixing together soy sauce and chili crunch and top off the dumplings with sesame seeds and diced green onions. Enjoy!
